Interlude Four
General Summary
A few odds and ends:
As renovations continued at the Gold Goblin, Kenoshi reformatted the rooms. He acknowledged your prior employment at the gaming hall and had agreed to continue to provide you with boarding until you decided if you wish to remain in the employ of the Gold Goblin. The rooms provided for you are set up for two people per room. Very basic, but they are rooms.
Crimson Coin business still existed, and that was part of the renovation in the caves. The entrance through the fighting pit had been sealed and removed, and more construction was going on in the caves themselves. You had not been made privy to what was going on down there, as the caves were now under the management of Kenoshi and the Crimson Coin.
On a cloudy morning, Winifred Annella Aldysh was laid to rest in a quiet ceremony in Halashire. A clergyman from the church read passages from the Book of Iomedae, and she was buried with a small insignia of a sword to continue her battles in the afterlife. Godric kept her katana, but her armor was made available to anyone who could use it. Followers of Iomedae felt it wrong to bury people with their weapons, as a good sword could always be put to use. Halashire was chosen because it was close to Riddleport, yet not in the criminal city. The church was consecrated ground, yet non-denominational. Clerics that were passing through town, and were non-evil aligned, could hold services there.
