Vaelin Sunshadow is the eldest son of House Zaleshak.

• Role: Eldest son of Matron Xyndra, Head of House Security.
• Abilities: A master arcane swordsman specializing in various blades and stealth tactics, his prowess in battle is well-respected and feared.
• Civil War Role: Directly involved in skirmishes against the Serpentfolk, Vaelin has led several successful raids against their encampments. His hatred for the serpentfolk is personal, following the loss of several close friends and family members.
