Majestor

The Infernal Majestor (or Majestrix if the title is owned by a woman) is the ruler of Cheliax. The title is not hereditary and can be inherited by any, but only by, members of House Thrune. This lead the members of the House to weave intricate plots and engage in various power struggle in order to place themselve or their favorite candidate on the throne. Majestor or majestrix is a king tier title, although most members of the rulling dynasties of Cheliax will argue that it is in fact an emperor tier title and that kings and leaders of other nations should shows due deference to the their great infernal leader.
