A Producer and Theater Manager

Cyrdak Drokkus is the producer of the Sandpoint Theater, one of the largest playhouses in Varisia. He arrived from Magnimar only 7 years ago, in 4700 AR, and takes great pride in how his playhouse could now compete with those in Magnimar. He prefers to write his own productions, but tries not to repeat plays that were already run elsewhere, and is willing to purchase scripts written by others if their quality is sufficiently high.

A character with Knowledge (local) +7 or more knows that Drokkus was forced to flee from Magnimar for mysterious reasons (which he is willing to hint at but not elaborate). Rumors include a love affair and a missing collection of theatrical play scripts.

A scandalous flirt

Drokkus is, and always was a flirt. He enjoys flirting with all young people in Sandpoint, but these activities have diminished since his marriage to Jasper Korvaski. The romantic relationship between Drokkus and Korvaski, a paladin of Abadar and the manager of the Sandpoint Mercantile League, was for a time Sandpoint's worst kept secret. Although most of the town had shown a remarkable tolerance for gay relationships, Dorkkus and Jasper had experienced hate on more than one occasion.

A character with Knowledge (local) +5 or more knows that the relationship between Korvaski and Drkkus has brought the theater and its owner into a clash with the ultra-conservative Scarnettis who strongly disapprove of gay relationship and the town's general tolerance of it.

A character with Knowledge (local) +5 or more knows that for some reason, Drokkus and the town's other prominent bard, Ameiko Kaijitsu, don't get along. The two of them rarely miss an opportunity to insult or slander each other, but neither has seen fit to explain the cause of their rivalry.

A character with Knowledge (local) +7 or more knows that Cyrdak does not trust the Sandpoint Town Hall or the Abadaran bank in Magnimar, and uses his basement to keep his money and precious belongings safe.
