Dragon Cooter

Dragon Cooter is what Astral Dragon's in the Astral Plane primarily use for nourishment. While the name might indicate that it is something related to the genitalia of a female dragon, that could not be further from the truth.
Astral Dragons do not function in the same way as most living races do. While they do feel pain, anger, sadness, joy, and stress- they have a different way to shake off their emotions. When they shake off their emotions, a "Dragon Cooter" is formed. This Dragon Cooter is filled with energy that will both sustain the Astral Dragon's hunger and significantly boost it's connection to the waves of magic floating around in the Astral Plane.
Cooter in Draconic means Spirit. So, in the common tongue the crystal that sustains dragons is called "Dragon Spirit." But the term Dragon Cooter stuck around.
