, also known as mites, are self-loathing and pitiful cowards, easily bullied into servitude by other creatures or even slightly more powerful mitflit leaders. They tame insects, spiders, and other such creatures to serve as faithful allies. Mitflits have lost most of their ancestral gremlin magic, leaving these incomplete beings full of doubt and insecurity. Mitflits find companionship in the other base creatures of the world, and forge bonds of friendship with vermin, the only other beings that seem willing to accept them. A social structure, even one in which they are bullied, partially fills the hole within mitflits’ personalities, and they rarely rebel or rail out unless their rage hits a breaking point.
Mitflits are a type of Gremlin, cruel fey tricksters and saboteurs who have fully adapted to life on the material plane. All gremlins delight in ruining or breaking things, whether something physical or intangibles such as alliances, friendships or confidence. Gremlins, particularly mitflits tend to denigrate or bully their lesser kin.

MITFLIT
Mitflits tend to be armed with makeshift weapons and armour often cobbled together from scraps of material and leather. They pose little threat as individuals, but can be problematic in numbers, especially after they've been wronged or injured as they have a ferocious anger.

MITFLIT GANG BOSS
Mitflit leaders are often the most annoying members of a group, achieving their positions by harassing an old leader into resigning or bullying the other gremlins into obedience. They frequently have delusions of grandeur, with a tendency to overeach with regards objectives and expectations. They keep their 'subjects' in line by bullying, frequently using controlled arthropods to back up their threats.

PC INTERACTIONS
Sarenith 4721AR - The members of the Rockfish Club encountered mitflits on their first two visits to Gauntlight Keep. Their first run in occurred in the gatehouse where a number of mitflits were in the above ceiling area in the damp entrance of the keep itself. The mitflits taunted the party with weird childlike voices which freaked the group out somewhat. The floor was also covered in shiny grey metallic mitflit poo, or 'pixie mud' as the creepy voices called it. These mitflits attacked from behind as the group were engaged with more mitflits, as well as a Slurk and a Giant Maggot.
On the second visit to the keep, they ran into more mitflits, firstly in the sinkhole created by a devastating battle between the Roseguard and Belcorra back in 4244AR (information shared with the party by Bogdan and secondly when they ran into the gang boss, Boss Skrawng, a couple of his minions as well as two giant solifugids in Boss Skrawng's throne room.
All of these mitflits were dispatched fairly easily, though the solifugids downed a couple of party members, rendering them unconscious, before they were eventually overcome. The spiders were by this point attacking alone as Boss Skrawng had already surrendered. After some intimidation by Jac he provided information about the rest of the keep as well as drawing a crude picture of the 'mushroom eyed people'
