Khalis, the Spear of Vengeance

Once a soul without guilt, Khalis got twisted and manipulated into a hateful, manic being exacting vengeance in the name of his patron Ishkhanter. In his long forgotten, living days, Khalis was a smith but one of his regular customers, manipulated and twisted him, placing the seed of hatred into his mind, telling lies about betrayals where there were none, about traitors who were after Khalis when there were neither a traitor nor a reason to betray him. Eventually these seeds florished and blossomed and the peaceful man murdered people he was sure have betrayed him, hunted them without ever having met them. The customer was said to be a demon in disguise, tasked by Iskhanter himself to bring him a worthy herald.
