Orcs are as varied a species as the other major species in the world, though most orcs share common physiology and culture.
Culture
An orc should always be able to depend on himself, surviving in the world on his or her own. That is the core of belief for many orcs around the world. That is not to say orcs do not organize to great cultures, sharing work or building great monuments as a community but if disaster strikes and hard time arises an orc can fend for himself. It is rare that an orc asks for help with a task he feels he could (or should) be able to do himself and if someone offers an orc help unasked it is quite often seen as an unintentional slight at best and a serious offense to be avenged at worst. For that reason, orcs are often seen as standoffish or downright rude to the unknowing. The exception to this are children, who are to be taught and raised with respect for personal borders, and elderly, who can be teachers and advisors for you. It is not important where your strengths are. Wether you are physically powerful or smart or magically inclined is irrelevant, as long as you know what you can and what you cannot do.
