Cayde

Cayde. Age 25. Born to the explorer Humphrey Boots and a Wind Djinn "Iso" that he met on one of his travels, at the top of Mt. Daab. While he did share a home with both parents for a time, his mother abandoned her human shape and took to the winds again.
During their travels, his father decided to settle down within a band of nomads. As a Suli, Cayde was born with innate magic. He would accidentally use it when his emotions rose, and his father used stories of his travels to explain there is no true good or bad. Just choices. Daydreaming of one day going on his own adventures, he spent hours pouring over every book/document the nomads had kept, learning everything he could about swordsmanship and magic.
Finally striking out at age 21, he set out to see the world. He traveled the country, taking interest in the cultures of the different peoples he encountered, but wanderlust prevented him from staying longer than a few months.
Hearing of the adventurer's guild, he finally felt he'd found the vehicle for his explorer spirit. He would join the guild, hoping to experience an adventurer's life, giving him the means to continue exploring the country without sacrificing financial stability.
