Garev Halfhand’s rebellion drove Absalom’s aristocrats to invest in public works and spaces, driving the Kortos Post-classical’s broad plazas, ramps, and columned pavilions. Homes increasingly featured upper-floor verandas and decks, and vast, multi-story apartments proliferated in this period.
