The sprawling, palatial designs of Nex only grew in popularity after the archmage Nex’s disappearance—before which Nex’s attempted invasion of Absalom had made his styles uncouth. Nexian construction emphasized impossible elements made manifest with arcane aid, ranging from woven stone walls to hovering annexes. Its elegance swiftly overshadowed contemporary Osirian structures.
