Session 6 - August 12. 2023

Sarenith 6th - cont moving through the Mitflit warrens. Came into the leader's area, which they attacked and defeated. In the process, a giant Tick attached itself to Seelah giving her tick fever prior to it being killed. They found the Sootscale idol and took it. It the attempt to use the handholds to cross a chasm, Seelah fell, but was able to catch herself. This roused the Giant whiptail centipede. Seelah was hit hard by its attack. Roc and Korax managed to pull her up, and help heal her. The rest of the party was then able to defeat the huge beast. In the next room they found a captive Kobold named Mikmek being tortured by 6 Mitflits. They saved Mikmek, and when Mikmek saw the idol, he begged the party to bring it back to the Sootscale kobolds.
Having cleared the Mitflit home, the party left. They returned to their camp a little after noon. They found one of their hostages had tried to escape, but their guard dog had detained him. After some discussion, they decided to execute him, as they had given many warnings about trying to escape. They then followed Mikmek the rest of the day then made camp for the night.
Sarineth 7th - Around noon the party arrived at the Sootscale home, which they discovered was an abandoned silver mine. The Sootscales welcomed them with open arms for bringing back their idol, especially the Chief. When he got the idol, and raised it, then smashed it to pieces, saying that the curse was lifted, and asked the PC's to help him kill the 'usurper' Tartuk, a newcomer to the tribe. Tartuk, faced with overwhelming force, and several injuries, turned invisible and fled. The party and chief chased him down the escape tunnel, but lost his trail after a couple of hours of tracking.
