Personal history

From a young age despite being an outcast from his family and his home Duvel saw something that others did not, he had visions of a grand city built impervious to harm and beautiful in design with his name signing the designs. Seeking his destiny Duvel left his mountain home and journeyed to the valley he saw in his visions, upon arriving he was greeted by a modest city having recently been established under the joint rule of three races that had been descendants of the people of the valley. Eager to create his masterpiece he pledged himself to the three kings of the city as a builder and architect promising to one day build a towering city for which the new kingdom could rule and reside within, seeing promise in the man and being seekers of knowledge and ingenuity themselves the three kings agreed to Duvel's request and allowed him to begin his work in creating the grand city. After nearly forty years with the aid of the many craftsmen of the city, Duvel was able to complete his masterpiece, a towering multilayered city that was capable of withstanding siege while also remaining self-sufficient. Pleased with the architect's work the three kings saw fit to name the new capital city after its designer and dubbed the city Corvus in Duvel's honor and created the House of Saari promoting Duvel to a noble within Erest.
