Actions

Lullaby. As an action, petals sings a lullaby. Every creature within 15 feet must make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or become drowsy and inattentive. As long as the petal uses its action to keep singing, the creature has disadvantage on Perception and Investigation Checks, as well as saving throws against effects that would put them to sleep. The DC increases by two for every other petal within 15ft. of the singing petal, with a maximum DC of 20.

Song of Rest. Every creature within 15 ft. must make a DC 6 Wisdom saving throw or be enchanted by the song and fall asleep. The creature stays unconscious as long as the petal uses its action to keep singing. The DC increases by 2 for every other petal within 15 ft. of the singing petal with a maximum DC of 20.

Most petals stand less than half a foot tall and weigh no more than one-tenth of a pound They take on the traits and appearance of different flowers, from roses and dahlias to water lilies and sunflowers.

Shy Guardians. These tiny, reclusive fey live mostly among themselves and stay hidden from the eyes of non-fey, but often cluster around other, more powerful fey beings. Petals are attracted by larger and stronger creatures from the feywild, such as forest spirits or eladrin, which they will try to protect and help to grow at all costs. They often act as servants or messengers for more intelligent beings. If petals can't find any fey creatures, they will cluster around powerful plants, such as treants or even corpse flowers.

Sleep Songs. Even though petals aren't aggressive beings and don't have the ability to harm any creature directly, they shouldn't be underestimated Petals can weave magical melodies that can lull nearby creatures or put them to sleep. Most petals try to stay close to each other and surround dangerous creatures, while still keeping their distance. The songs become more powerful with each petal nearby.

Flower Groves. Areas surrounding larger groups of petals, also called bouquets, flourish and prosper within a short period of time. Plants grow quicker and larger, and colorful and strange flowers bloom nearby, some of which with magical properties. Because of this influence, petals are sometimes hunted and captured by humanoids.
