Everfire

The Everfire is one of the six primoridal entities, created before time by the Watcher to manifest the different elements into the world. The Everfire is destruction, life, release of energy and entropy rising all in one, an idea of change encapsulated in the beauty of flames that reach across time and space. It fought during the First War to destroy the world and reduce it to ash, spending the World's energy and a grand conflagration that would have wiped out reality. Towards the end of the First War, the Everfire was convinced by the giant gods Stronmaus and Memnor to go into a deep slumber, so as to let the peoples of the world live in peace.
Today the Everifre's pure essence as the First Flame slumbers in a vault deep below the volcanic island-chain of Volgolt, guarded by red dragons and ember elves. However, not all parts of the Everfire went asleep willingly, and all over the world the Everifre's essence is chained in volacnoes, waiting to be released to once again wreak havoc.

Divine Domains

The Everfire is worshiped by many of the Ignean nations to this day, as a symbol of life, power and vitality, as well as destruction, war and death. The Ember Elves have a long traditon of praying to the Everfire for blessings in war and forging, and give thanks to her when infusing their magic items with her essence. Volcano dwarves likewise worship the Everfire.
