Starsea Masquerade
The Starsea masquerade is held every day on the Winter Solstice in boats on the Starsea. It's a semi-public event held by the nation of the Moonlight Isles, and it is said that it is the time where the stars are most magical.
It’s considered good luck to attend, especially to those who worship the Stellar Triplicate.
Most of the people in attendance are natives of the Moonlight Isles; so many elves, humans, half-elves, and halflings; with perhaps a couple of friendly fae hiding among them. But some come over from other places, sometimes even from the West, because they have heard the Starsea Masquerade is a magical, memorable event.
The money is used to cover the costs of the masquerade, but also towards other things.

Logistics
The government of the Moonlight Isles prepares most of their galleons for the festival, usually around fifteen. The finest three are set aside for nobility and aristocracy, the highest ranking of which get automatic invites, but the rest are public to whomever can afford fifteen gold for a letter of invitation. (Fifty-five gold, for some of the lucky who want a limited space on the boats for nobility.)The money is used to cover the costs of the masquerade, but also towards other things.
