Discovery of the gift ceremony
A coming-of-age ceremony where the magic abilities are unlocked. The ceremony is done twice a year once in the middle of the year and once at the end of the year when the children turn 14. In the ceremony, four members of The Ivory Council of that area, each one with a different gift stand next to the pillar that corresponds with them and send magic through the pillar to the middle platform where the child is sitting. The magic descends on the child, which opens up the magic core allowing the gift abilities to erupt. at the end of the ceremony a mark of the gift appears on the hands of the child.
