Jonas Velfade

Jonas Velfade is considered to be the first modern rouge Drainer. He deserted after personally witnessing Molly Desfade's trial. After he left, he apparently learnt to read and write (or obtained someone to write his story for him), and he published a highly controversial letter to the Crathlian public. This letter has been banned from both ownership and distribution due to its highly anti-government sentiments. In essence, it calls for revolution against the monarchy. I have personally not read the letter, nor should you, or face the consequences of time in prison with the very obedient Drainers he called to set free.
After being caught visiting Molly Desfade's grandchildren, including Katherine Desfade Weatherby, Velfade was executed by burning on Craingal 17, 1282.
