Lord Shimeg Rothra
Lord (King) Shimeg Rothra (a.k.a. "The Wise")
Lord Shimeg Rothra is the king, war chief, and commanding officer (all titles he holds) of the combined goblinoid armies of Narfell, and by default the entire nation of Baragrast.
Rothra is not born of nobility, even of the goblin variety. Rather he advanced up the ranks of the goblinoid horde, through the appropriate channels (in this case, murdering in a trial by combat), and eventually bested his predecessor, the old King Furlgrot, in single combat.
Rorthra is a single minded man, but a fair one (at least when it comes to his soldiers). He is a military commander, through and through, and only truly understands the minds of those under his direct command. He has a difficult time with the fact that as "King," he is also responsible for the non-combatant farmers and villagers within his nation.
He still, in fact, joins his elite soldiers on the field of battle, much to the chagrin of his generals.
Shimeg is well aware of the Crown's plans to retake Narfell, and has spent many years preparing for what he sees as an inevitability. It's become somewhat of an obsession for him, even though these alleged plans have survived several generations of Wyethian kings with little to no progress.
