The exile of the Sanguine Order and the mages of Hariel Majour...

Less than one hundred years after The Sundering, the crown of Wyeth, prompted and assisted by the Faith Zenithal, et out to scour all blood mages from the north. Along with the defiling Sanguine Order, unrelated mages were also persecuted. Few made the distinction between the dread mages of The Sundering and the average hedge mage or simple wizard.   In order to avoid the pogroms, most arcane casters fled south to the welcoming lands of Varuum. Others, including the leadership of the Sanguine Order ventured across the World Sea to eventually found the nation of Lentokk.   A few of the more esoteric mages made their way to the Isle of Mitluvia, where they could live in relative seclusion.   It took but a hundred years to scour the lands of the influence of the blood mages and their ilk. The unfortunate consequence being the removal of the vast majority of all magic in the north lands.
