Zweck

Der Codex ist eine Sammlung aller Gesetze und Richtlinien der Krennmark. Kopien davon werden in den meisten Gerichtshöfen in der Krennmark und in Balrind konsultiert, wenn es darum geht, das Strafmaß zu bestimmen.

Being probably the largest book on the entire old plane, it is subdivided into many chapters and paragraphs.

Vorbehalte

As it is the whole legal manuscript of a kingdom it has tons upon tons of dos and don'ts, it is the ultiimate contract, because upon entering the kingdom you are bound to its terms. This does not apply if the high council of lords decides with majority to give someone a document which nullifies this rule.

Referenzen

The codex itself is one of the most referenced books on the entire world, but never references other books and instead explains things on the spot, even if they are very tedious to explain, for the sake of having one complete book.
