Waking up as the first rays of sunlight touched the roofs of the castles buildings I sprang up, dressed myself and went straight to the barn to feed the horses. Then I went on to make the breakfeast for the chef in he kitchen, so he could make the breakfast for the royals, with me and the others. As I got the fire going and put a kettle on it to prepare the tea, I noticed a small note on the table right besides me and read:

Zweck / Funktion

Built to house the members of the Royal family, it was the most empressive military structure of its time and the first of its kind. Its purpose was to defend the spreading kingdom against an eventual onslaught of monsters, which raged in the wild forests and swamps.

Veränderungen

In the time it stood there were no alterations to the structure. After it burnt down the site was abandoned and a new castle was built fully in limestone, as the remnants of the royal family feared another blaze, because the cause of the first fire could never be discovered.

Architektur

It was a wooden structure, built to be the first major castle of the Ku-Win Empire, but it was abandoned after it burned down in a horrible fire, around ten years after it was finished. The only stone Building was the middle watchtower, house of the Emperor and his Family.

The consruction began in 49 A.F. and was finished in 54 A.F.. After that, only minor changes were made to the complex.
