Shluwürmer

When I stepped into the laboratory I noticed several different things, but my gaze was instantly drawn to a glass, dangling from the ceiling in the middle of the room. In it was a small caterpillar, like the old man told me. I untied it from the rope and immediately noticed a circle on the ground, drawn with white chalk on the red stone, which seemed to suddenly just appear, but which I ahould have known always had been there, waiting to be triggered by a fool like me. I saw a meal appear infront of me, just a chunk of bread, a piece of cheese and a cup of water, to keep me alive until the owner of this place came back nibbling at my cheese, like the mouse I am.

It looks like a green caterpillar most of the time, though it is able to change color to better blen in with the world around it.. The average specimen is about 5-7 cm long and 2-3 cm in diameter.
