An individual is infected with this desease as soon as he or she swallows a slurpslug, which almost never happens, because this species only has a livespan of around 10 seconds and only comes into existence if there are 6 or more interplanar portals almost stacked ontop of each other. As an added Bonus, they are also invisible.

Ursachen

The Slurpslug uses 0.01% of your brain capacity, once it gets inside you and realises, that it has to teleport to another plane of existence, in order to elongate ist life. This results in random and quick teleporting.

Symptome

You immediatly start teleporting out of your plane into a random other, landing hard on the ground of whatever plane you are in. While affected you cannot die of starvation or Dehydration, as the slug, which elongates ist lifespan by waring through the planes at least every 9 seconds, will provide enough nutrients.

Behandlung

If you vomit out the slug you are cured from this condition, but you will also most likekly be on another plane, which also means that the chances of you ever returning to whatever it was you were doing is extraordinarily slim.

Prognose

In most cases it is fatal, because the chances of landing somewhere, where your Body can survive longer as Long as 9 seconds, before you cure yourself by vomiting, are unfortunately also very low.

Ending up in another plane is the condition. It is one of the hardest things to make right again.

Vorbeugung

Just don't go near a constellation of more than 6 or more interplanar portals. This is an advice that is very easy to follow and also the normal way of living your life.

It depends on the plane you land on, but most planes dont' know it even exists in the first place. Genuine cultural reception: "Eerrrr, what is this, did this thing just pop out of nowhere?? Is it host... oh, err wait, it's gone. I should really stop drinking to much."
