Etro, Mother Darkness

Etro was the first to emerge from the primordial well. Along with her husband, she brought balance and formed all of creation in the realm. Her existence set time into motion and allowed all to proceed. After the passing of her husband, she would facilitate the counting of souls and usher them into the Lifestream to be born anew. She is often depicted as a beautiful pale woman in a dark dress that sparkles like the night sky. In older Era's, worship of Etro was common. However, in recent light of skeptics she would fall out of favor due to her daughter's betrayal and near expulsion of existence. However pockets of faith still remain and she retains a loyal following of Oracle's that are given the rare gift of foresight. She is associated with Dark. Her symbol is that of a starry sky.
