Verdonese Reforms of 309
The Reforms of 309 were introduced to quell major dissent among the peasants and the nobility. They included bills of rights for Nobles and Citizens, equalized genders and races under the law, clarified the powers and responsibilities of Nobles, and empowered the Yeomanry to police them. Notably, the Reforms are not a constitution and they do not define or restrict the King or other offices of government. However the King (and later the Emperor and Regent) generally do follow them while not legally bound to do so.
