Gilzec Dubhan
A deposed prince from the kingdom of Neroji; he and his twin were subject of a prophecy suggesting that one of the twins was meant to rule as and the other would stand alongside them as an arcane master. Gil's sister challenged him for his title in physical combat and won, and Gil is determined to excel in magical study to support his sister.
Rather than devoting himself to hundreds of hours of study, Gil has decided to charge off into adventure and get real-world experience that way. This has worked out surprisingly well for him, and he made a name for himself by helping bring down the ancient red dragon Ignirex-- twice.
In the wake of the dracolich's defeat, a botched casting seems to have transformed him into a dragonborn.
