The Coral Throne

What are you trying to prove? The Coral throne is affiliated with forces which tend towards disordering the transitional state, called Toma Mu in Chora. While this notion is meaningless outside of the study of metaphysics, Coral is most commonly associated with the concept of 'impulse'.   Coral forces tend to be simultaneously frank and deceptive. Where its' opposite, Glass tends towards a highly controlled, transactional approach to knowledge, Coral forces are passionate, evangelical and visionary. While not as maniacal as Brass, Coral is creative and innovative; immediately gratifying to its' supplicants and conversational with its opponents. Coral forces are eager to expand both their mind and the minds of others regardless of the cost, giving the Coral Throne a reputation as the throne of madness. Organized Coral cults behave like mystery cults, undertaking psychonautical journeys into the depths of the mind, with the highest orders irretrevably separated from typical mortal thought, simultaneously euphorically enlightened and stark raving mad. Few can say to comprehend Coral wisdom, but few alike are eager to say they don't seem happy.   This does not mean, however, that Coral fiends only deal in psychedelia and free love. Coral is deeply associated with instinct, fear and horror, and a Coral fiend's smile usually hides an especially sharp pair of fangs. Coral Angels and greater Fiends are madness incarnate, but often horribly alluring, controlling perception and emotion to literally make their dreams reality, often hiding their presence until escape is impossible and reality is a blurry memory.     Coral generally favors steam and heat, and dislikes lightning and silver.     The other thrones are Brass (Creation), Shale (Entropy), Glass (Knowledge), Gold (War), Jade (Harmony) and Lead (Absence and balance of all other forces).
