The Foxworth party arrived in the evening to the ominous cloud still hanging over The Black Walls where the forces of The Gaunt Duchy had breached the walls outside Cardenfall.
Choosing to wait the night and pass below the ruined gatehouse in the morning, Lady Ophelia Foxworth-Hayford had her first encounter with ser Theadwyn Wynch, who chose instead to lead their own troops through the cloud in the low evening light and press on toward their new holding - The Gallows.
