Dainsleif, Greatsword of the Protector
The Legendary Greatsword of Miroth, The Protectorate
During the Dark Age, upon the great titan Miroth's death this artifact was lost to time.
It wouldn't be rediscovered until later, when the blade resurfaced in 2368 wielded by Agathon, The Great. However during this current period the fabled blade's true identity was bygone, unbeknownst to all but the wielder.
In 2396, during his final days Agathon passed the sword down to his eldest son, Rhoan Freewind who he truly believed was destined for greatness. In an oath between the two, Agathon secretly disclosed the truth of the blade's identity to him. Entrusting him to be capable of wielding the powerful relic in credence for the greater good.
Rhoan would go on to possess the blade, up until his death in 2424 after fighting in The Great Sunder. He would succumb to his wounds just weeks after winning the battle against the Horde pushing them back from whence they had came.
