Tattoos over the front and back of his neck as well as his arms and hands. The tattoos on his neck are written in Infernal and read, "There is always two sides to a coin."

The death of his parents has left him feeling abandoned and lonely, causing a Dissociated Personality Disorder as a coping mechanism. He constantly bickers with his alter ego "Grim" (his more unhinged side), making it difficult for him to get along and grow personal attachments/relations with others. Although, with Grim at his side, he doesn't feel as lonely.
