Session 44: Returning to Cliffbeach Report

General Summary

We start this session on the evening of the 2nd of Gallus, with Frank and Jovial being rowed to shore to make their way to the city. They come across Gutti's Loaf, a bread stall on the edge of the city, but he seems to have lost his memory. They also speak to Lily, which comes in and out of the city now and again. Everything is a bit quiet and eerie.
Meanwhile, the rest of the party moor the ship near some big rocks, and row in to the docks 1,000 feet away. Willip, the guy on the jetty, charges them a solver a day, billable when they leave. They chat to Avidad, a guard to a grand ship that he thinks belongs to the mayor's famiy. He knows Lasarie, so they make their way along the docks.
The party meets back up, meets with Lasarie who knows them, and they have a drink! She's merry and pleased to see them - very grateful for their previous help still. She doesn't quite believe them about the memory thing, but plays along. They all have some grub. She suggest they head back to Min's Inn (The Strong Sailor) where they stayed last time. Lasarie paid for a whole month of board there for them.
Min is weird though. She just stares at things. She tunes in and out of conversation. She doesn't know if she's married, but she thinks she was. She often forgets who they are. In their room is a map, warm winter clothes, and a backpack. Inside are letters from Mum and Dad (in Red Gate Port), addressed to Sune and Reggie. There are also 2 letters addressed to mum and dad, but haven't been sent yet. Odd. There are many theories of this.
For that evening, Joe and Kevan go back to the ship so the party are split up in case anyone forgets anything. They sleep peacefully. The menu for breakfast is weird and has a secret message. Everyone is extremely freaked out.
The map indicates a few places - they go to the market first, where a jewel seller accuses them of stealing a diamond! The guard comes and calms the situation down, there's clearly a receipt there for it.
We leave it there with the PCs none the wiser...

Do they know what's going on? Maybe. Maybe not.
