Session 49: The Cliffbeach Saga Part 5 Report

General Summary

Our heroes start the session finishing the fight. Here's a summary of what they do

• They hear some guards in the corridors and speak to them! The guard captain, Pordell Nisk, half-believes them and gets their prisoner from the dungeon. The guards take the prisoner away to question him. Captain Nisk offers them a lot of money if they can figure out what's going on, but needs to confirm how much.
• It's time to rest! Kevan goes back to the ship, takes a ton of poison damage from the Midnight Tears plants, but recovers and doesn't die in his sleep. The rest of them sleep at Min's Inn, but wake to find a blood stain in the inn from their door to the front door.
• They continue adventuring. In the sewers they are attacked by an animated trap! Joe takes a LOT of damage, but they eventually do a number on it. 
• There's a crocodile corpse, with a huge bite mark in it. Nearby there's a skeleton that has a note: "Please look after Comodo. He won't leave my side."
• Joe gets bitten on the back, and there are large letterbox size marks on him
• Frank takes the 6 pearls from the pools and ingests some of the green dust
• Kevan polymorphs Frank into a Giant Ape so they can climb a tunnel to chase down the Spellskite

We leave it there with them about to chase down the creature
