Session 51: The Cliffbeach Saga Conclusion Report

General Summary

Our heroes start the session looking up at the dead crazy man getting eaten. They avert their eyes and make their way back to the church. There's time for a quick short rest before heading down to the dungeon. 
FIGHT! The False Hydra is waiting and pounces on them from every angle through the holes in the floor. The fight goes on for a while and Kevan gets eaten, but manages to get out in gaseous form. From there it takes a better turn as some of the heads are cut off. 
After a while, they defeat the beasts and semi-deflates, revealing a map-like engraving on the floor. Frank also finds a small boat toy that belonged to his son, Chris. Damn.
They leave the dungeon and head back towards down. On the way, there's a large chasm and on the other side the Master Hand and some disciples pose as another religion that worships Pelor. Our heroes believe them and Isabella flies over on the broom, only for the Master Hand to pull the broom from under her, seemingly falling all the way down the chasm. Uh-oh.
