Session 52: Leaving Cliffbeach Report

General Summary

We start the session with a fight with the Master Hand, who quickly vanishes, and his underlings. Kevan dives down to save Isabella who somehow isn't at the bottom of the ravine. It's an illusion! Some of the decipels try fleeing, but they're all shot down. The fight ends and they discover that the ravine is much less deep an expected and it was placed here as an illusion. So weird. But why? Why, indeed.
Thalia arrives. Uh-oh. She's angry about the situation and that they missed it. She gives them permission to keep exploring this. Learn what they can and report directly to her. She hands them two sending scrolls as backup, and informs them that Kirkwall has been destroyed - it's now a giant sinkhole. Some of the other Guardians parties are dead too. They need to recover. She can give them passage to Norcastle from Cliffbeach if needed. She definitely does not give them permission to break the law.
Back in Cliffbeach and it's a mess. People can see the blood and the bodies and have awoken from their dream. The PCs take some bread and leave some gold on a stall, and they decide to loot the armour shop before anyone else can. Isabella takes some half plate armour to use for her own use.
Then they leave Cliffbeach! The horrible memory of the creature lingers over the stench, and they're happy to get away from the sunny southern city. They arrive in Bridgeford on the 5th and head straight to the Phoulwish manor. Kevan turns into a fly and buzzes around. The entire family are dead and hung in the parlour, while the entire house is destroyed and turned inside out. Kevan finds stairs going to the basement, and at that point decides it's best to get his companions before continuing.
