Session 62: Getting the Cloak Report

General Summary

Our heroes start first thing in the morning on the 14th of Limax. They have arrived at Red Gate Port. 
As they head into town they see the white-stone, nice town of Red Gate Port. The stroll through the market, past McGeorge Manor, and to The Mug and Rest. They order some ales (Dwarven Thumb) and pay for 2 nights (with breakfast and dinner) for 36gp. They're told about the casino and that they need nice clothes.
We have a nice shop at The Dreamy Gown where Frank buys a satin shirt with a cummerbund and cufflinks, Joe buys a suit and tie, Isabella gets a dark maroon dress, Jovial a top hat, purple suit and cane, and Kevan a top hat and tuxedo with a monocle. They all look very dapper. They somehow manage to wrangle 10% of any purchases that they refer in the future.
There's a bit of downtime for the next day and a half:

• Isabella goes to the Crown Amulet and buys a diamond ring for 380gp.
• Frank does menial tasks and helps people out, talking the good talk about The Dreamy Gown
• Joe goes to the tavern and learns a bit about Hamund, talks to the guards, and stakes out the guard duty
• Kevan and Jovial start a ghost cruise service and get 20 people interested. They charge to fly them over, give them a tour, and take them on a cruise. In total they make 200gp from the tours and sell 4 basement bones for a total of 260gp

On the evening of the 15th they put on their gladrags and go to Belaine Casino. Joe hides a dagger on his person. On entry they learn it's an anti-magic field around the whole building. Frank instantly heads for the lizard racing and comes 2nd in his first race. Others go for some dragon chess, some for the Chicago tables, and some for other games. They all participate maximum in the Bag of Holding raffle (25gp each).
Frank mingles and Isabella heads for the dragon chess table. She plays with Peronell de Bolbec, who she beats. There's more lizard racing - Frank mostly loses, Joe wins a bit and a new halfling friend wins some. We end the session as they approach Hamund McGeorge.
