The Lantern of Sorrow
When lit, the lantern transforms the space it has lit up to be in The Undying Valley. While here, the lantern acts like a normal lantern, lighting up their path up to 10ft.
If the lantern is turned on or off when there's no relative space in the opposite plane, each player takes 3d10 force damage and is pushed to the nearest available space.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
- A lantern must be carried to be used and takes up 1 hand.
- A lantern can be turned on and off with an action and teleports creatures up to 20ft to The Undying Valley.
- It ignores anything that would normally cast a shadow, like the bearer.
