Artengak

Mainly used by arctic barbarians to hunt seal, the artengak consists of a wooden shaft, 4-5 feet long, with a needlelike bone point. A long leather cord attaches to the blunt end of the shaft. The user loops the cord around his wrist; the cord helps prevent an impaled animal from escaping with the weapon.
