Scourge of Flame

With this spell, the priest conjures a whip with multiple fiery thongs that only he can wield. This whip deals 3d6 points of damage (or only half if the targeted creature is protected from fire) on a successful hit, and its straps wrap around the victim. As long as the priest keeps the whip in hand, a creature that is entangled in the straps can neither use its weapons in combat (losing any dexterity bonus and suffering a 4 penalty to its AC to defend itself) nor throw spell (unless it is a voice spell), in addition it automatically suffers 1d6 points of damage per round (or only half if it is protected against fire). She can nevertheless try to free herself from the embrace, at the end of the initial round and each of the following rounds, by making a test of strength against half of her strength score.
