Hold of the Sea Princes
This is the pirate organization that keeps a hold of Guilrock Bay from the South. They are often found in conflict with royal Keoland ships. However, they do seem to have a good relationship with the Yeomanry. In recent years, reports indicate that there has been a change in rulership. The logo they once used has been replaced by a 9 eyed monster with a giant, toothy maw.
History
Started in the year 444 CY, the Sea Princes was initially lead by Hammandaturian. He brought the band of pirates together into an actual organization and claiming the land that was once heavily settled by Suloise People while the Keoish were busy with their northern wars. In 453 CY, King Tavish III himself lead the Keoland army through the Hool Marsh where he was felled by the Sea Princes and lost his trusted Vilharian (an ancient sword).
After the pirates had an indecisive loss at the Battle of Jetsom Island in 464 CY, they secluded themselves to their own country on the South side of Guilrock Bay where they grew in proffitablity and trade via plantations.
In the year of 527, however, something within the organization changed. There was supposed to be a shift in power as the previous ruler Hammandaturian had finally passed. Instead, there a fog rolled into the Hold of the Sea Princes capital Monmurg and with it, a shrouded floating being of immense power. On the night he entered, he begged for protection and to be initiated as a member of the pirate organization. The next morning, when everyone awoke, he sat on the princes' throne as the new Prince of the Hold.
Prince Jindrakonrie (or Captain Jin for short) has ruled in a very different manner than Hammandaturian. Where Hamman would listen to his cabinet of princes and do what was best to make a profitable, Captain Jin seemed mad with power, often doing what he could to protect himself and the city he lived in. Those who disobeyed were treated extremely harshly with only stories and rumors of their torture. Captain Jin has allowed anyone and everyone who is willing to join his pirate gang as long as they pay him the proper tribute.
