Planar Magic

Planar magic is one that has not been fully comprehended and, thus, has never been truly mastered. It is one that involves the combining of different planes of existence into one for either brief or prolonged periods of time. While some other categories of magic dabble in planar magic without realization (i.e. the spell "Conjure Elementals" takes an elemental from their plane of being and subjugates for a short time) it is rare for a mage to pull through specific beings, entities, objects, etc. It is even more rare for a mage to create any kind of permanent portal between planes of existence.
