Vilharian (Vill-H-Are-E-an)

Vilharian is a magical ancient Suel blade, with a silver and aquamarine pommel. It was believed to have been forged before the crowning of Mikar, the first Grand Prince of the Kingdom of Aerdy. The runes upon it hint at the great hidden power within it.

History

It was first wielded by the hero Sellanus of the Suel House Zelrad during the Great Migrations. He reportedly lost it in a duel with Kelanen near present day Cryllor in western Keoland. It soon fell into the bands of the Rhola of Gradsul where it remained a prized possession of that house for centuries. Many of that house were and are followers of Kelanen. Vilharian allegedly slipped from the hands of King Tavish III into the muck surrounding Westkeep during the siege of 453 CY. It was recovered by one of the captains of the brigands involved in that siege. It was believed lost forever a few years later with the sinking of the ship The Sea Prince during the Battle of Jetsom Island.
