Adventures in the Sewers
There are many adventure opportuni ties here, involving monsters, discovery of secret doors , planned encounters with the Shriven Sickle or other such groups, and many "hooks" the DM can use to get the PCs down in this gloomy realm 0ost property, a pursuit, etc.). The chance of a PC catching a disease (without special protection, such as that conferred by paladinhood) is 2% per hour spent in the sewers, to a maximum of a 15% chance per day. See "King of the Rats" in Chapter 8 for an outline of a specific adventure that could take place in this unpleasant environment.
