Armies of the QAYAH-BUREIS ISLANDS

Disorganized and rulerless, the towns of the Qayah-Bureis islands cannot even boast a major fleet, although they have small ships that are used mostly to harass one another. The same can be said of their ground forces, which are suitable for defense of their walls and occasional minor raids, but little else.

As of CY 578, their forces consist of the following:

Yif Qayah

• 200 light infantry with spear and padded armor

Bidah

• 150 light infantry with spear and padded armor

• 150 light infantry with long bows

Gafoy

• 250 medium infantry with sword and shield

Bureis

• 200 light infantry with spear and padded armor

• 100 light infantry with long bows

• 200 medium infantry with sword and shield

It should be noted that locathah are often used as scouts in small numbers, providing early warning of sea-born raids.
