Bestien's Towers

This twin towered castle keep stands watch over the southern Nutherwood. The 150 heavy infantry and 300 light infantry garrisoned here patrol the southern forest margins, watchful for any remaining Stonefist men. The Nutherwood is technically part of the Pale, but the Pales soldiers allow Nyrond troops to hunt Fists within the wood. This castle is a base for the 800 militia who, at any one time, patrol the eastern border with the Pale. The troops of both nations have little love for each other, and exchanges between patrols tend to be short and to the point.
