Defenses

For administrative purposes all of Furyondy’s navy is considered based at Willip, although at any given time many naval vessels are traveling the Veng or stationed at small bases along the northern bank of the broad, long mouth of the Velverdyva. The navy has been strengthened by the arrival of those vessels, saved from Whyestil Lake, which were able to flee down the Veng during the war.

Butrain has also moved swiftly to defend his small area of border with Iuz. Naval batteries and fortifications have sprung up at Herechel, and estuary defenses, including earthworks, archery bunkers, spear walls and more, have been rushed into place.
