Dungeon of Bleeding Walls
A large band of wererats is thought to rule the uppermost level of this dungeon, while mottled lizards, cave fishers, chitin-plated worms and carrion crawlers infest its lower depths. Magical guardians and temporal stasis spells protect the lowest level, believed to be the final resting-place of three male drow vampires, each a mage of 14thor higher level. Rare magical tomes lie in their stasis tombs, it is said. What brought the dark elves so far from home and who had the magical might to imprison them here, are both unknown to the very wisest of sages. The dungeon takes its name from a singular report that, among the chambers of the catacombs, the walls seep a bloody fluid which is acidic, corrosive and gives off poisonous fumes.
