Jeweler Gritch Hariad, Old City, is an artisan of fantastic skill and fabulous wealth. He stores this wealth, and keeps his shop, almost in the shadow of the Thieves' Guild stronghouse, and the guild has protected the jeweler completely from any criminal activity. Many nonguild thieves, barely noticed by the guild, have ended their careers in an ill-advised theft attempt against Jeweler Hariad.
