Map of Safeton
Safeton, once said to be as secure as its name implies, has become a fortress-town On and the center of much military activity. Unlike the wood-built Narwell, Safeton is largely stone-built, and many of its structures are centuries old. A huge battle was fought just south of the town in 589 Cy against a strong goblin army, but the assault was broken by the extensive use of traps, destructive magic, and expert archery before its troops reached the walls. The fields outside Safeton are still littered with rusting weapons, bits of armor, and bones; it has become a a play site for children.
