Offspring of Master Craftsmen

The scholarly route may be pursued rather than learning trade skills, their families were often wealthy enough (and ambitious enough) to afford a son in University, a career in the law being many a métiers’ plan for a son. If so, they acquire basic knowledge in any three skills listed for their Father’s Vocation plus 1 +½D10 skills listed above, except they will not have Riding skill unless their background suggests they could have learnt such a skill. Merchants’ sons generally experienced school for a few years before joining the family business.
